The Structure of the Federation

The Boxing Federation of the Republic of Moldova was founded in 1993.

 

The President of the Federation and the Presidium is Master of Sports Vasily Chirtoca.

Department of Olympic (Amateur) Boxing

 

The Department of Olympic (Amateur) Boxing is a specialized body through which the Federation manages Olympic (amateur) boxing in accordance with applicable international regulations.

 

The election of members, their powers, and the Regulations of the Department are approved by the Presidium. The Department is headed by the President of the Federation or one of the Vice-Presidents.

 

The Department operates in accordance with the Regulations and programs approved by the Presidium and on the basis of instructions issued by the President of the Federation.

Within the framework of the Boxing Federation of the Republic of Moldova, as the only organization authorized to manage boxing as a sport at the national level, the Department of Professional Boxing operates to organize, regulate, and develop professional boxing.

 

Within the framework of the Department of Professional Boxing, divisions, operational areas, and professional boxing series are established by decision of the Presidium of the Federation. The Department is headed by one of the Vice-Presidents of the Federation and operates in accordance with the Regulations and programs approved by the Presidium and on the basis of instructions issued by the President of the Federation.
